We are the agents for Western Union, which allows you to send and receive money within Guyana and internationally. Our other brand, Bill Express, is a bill payment hub for all major utility providers and many more Guyanese billing companies. PayU, another Bill Express product, enables citizens with Government-issued pensions and grants to cash their vouchers seamlessly. It also facilitates many-to-one payments such as salaries and other business disbursements.
Bill Express costs vary by biller. Western Union costs vary according to the country that funds are being sent to.

Bill Express is a multiple bill payment service operating in Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and St. Lucia. It gives customers the convenience of making payments to a wide range of billers at one location. Our partner billers include major utility companies such as electricity, telephone, water, cable and internet service providers.

Yes. Bill Express ensures that an “Agency Collection Agreement” is duly executed before the commencement of collections on behalf of a “Payee.”
Customer payment information is sent to the Billing Company within 24 hours of receipt.

All customers receiving transfers below USD 2264.69 or its Guyanese equivalent must have one form of Government-issued ID. When collecting from some countries, additional requirements may apply. For amounts of USD 2265 and above, the customer should have a second form of identification/verification document and Proof of address. The Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) is a requirement to pick-up all receiving transfers. This number is unique to your transaction; ensure you obtain it from your sender ahead of cash collection.
All customers collecting transfers must present a Government-issued ID.
All customers receiving must provide the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN), their sender’s name, where the money was sent from and the amount sent.
Transfers collected in Guyana are paid in the domestic currency only.
Yes. All Western Union locations are cash-issued locations. Cheques may be issued upon a customer’s request in instances where large sums of money are to be picked up. Customers can also receive funds in their bank account by utilizing our Direct-to-Bank service. Transfers are made directly into the registered bank accounts of all local banks.
Customers can utilize our Direct to Bank (D2B) services as an alternative. This way their money will be transferred directly to a bank account they have registered with us.
Yes. Transfers can be sent to any country where there is a Western Union location. However, there are some countries with limitations/restrictions.
Transfers being sent from Guyana can be done using Guyana dollars only.
While there are no limits to sending, there are special requirements when sending over certain amounts.
Customers who fail to produce all the required documents and information will not be able to complete their transaction.
As a regulated entity in the financial sector, GraceKennedy Money Services Ltd must comply with regulations set out in the Proceeds of Crime Act. All sending customers are required to declare the source of their cash.
An individual under 18 years of age is not allowed to use our Western Union service in Guyana.
